The rules that keep BQAC a safe and welcoming community.
By creating an account on the BQAC platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to use BQAC. The platform is designed for bisexual, queer, and allied people in the Chicago area. We reserve the right to decline membership at our discretion.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with others. Notify us immediately at info@bqachicago.org if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree not to use the BQAC platform to harass, threaten, or intimidate other members; post hate speech or discriminatory content; out members (share their identity without consent); send unsolicited messages or spam; impersonate other people; or engage in any illegal activity.
Profile photos and bios must be appropriate for a community platform. BQAC may remove content that violates these standards at any time and without prior notice.
BQAC reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts for violations of these terms or our Community Guidelines, with or without prior notice. We take this step seriously and only do so when necessary to protect the community.
BQAC is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are not liable for interactions between members or for any damages arising from your use of the platform. The platform is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
BQAC may update these terms from time to time. We will notify members of material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
